Service Authorization and Consent
You authorize Ginger Paws LLC to provide grooming services for your pet and agree to the following:

Emergency Care-
In the event of an emergency and in your absence, you authorize Ginger Paws LLC to seek veterinary treatment for your pet at your expense.

Health & Behavior Disclosure-
You confirm that all known medical, behavioral, or special needs conditions have been disclosed and agree to update Ginger Paws LLC of any changes. Grooming senior pets or pets with underlying health conditions is performed at the owner’s risk. You understand grooming can be physically and emotionally stressful and may aggravate existing or unknown conditions, potentially resulting in injury, illness, or death. Ginger Paws LLC is not liable for complications arising from known or unknown conditions.

Skin, Moles & Irregularities-
Skin growths, moles, and lesions may be accidentally nicked during grooming. Ginger Paws LLC is not liable for such occurrences.

Matted Coats-
Severely matted coats require shaving and may result in clipper irritation, nicks, bruising, ear hematomas, or skin issues. Ginger Paws LLC is not liable for conditions or injuries related to grooming of neglected or matted coats.

Ears & Anal Glands-
Inner ear hair removal requires written veterinary approval. Anal gland expression is performed only upon request. Ginger Paws LLC is not liable for irritation resulting from these services.

Vaccinations-
Rabies vaccination is required by law unless a valid veterinary exemption is provided.

Fleas & Ticks-
If fleas or ticks are present, a minimum $30+ fee will apply for treatment and sanitation. Ginger Paws LLC is not liable for reactions to flea products used.

Appointments, Cancellations & No-Shows-Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice, no-shows, or appointments unable to be completed due to health or behavioral concerns are subject to a fee of 50% of the scheduled service or the cost of services rendered, whichever is greater. Services may be stopped at any time for the safety of the pet or groomer. An appointment is considered a “no-show” if the client is unavailable, does not answer the door, does not provide access to their pet, or if the pet is not ready for grooming within 10 minutes of arrival. Please have your pet pottied and ready for grooming by your scheduled arrival window.

Payment-
Payment can be made via cash, Zelle, Venmo or card, and is due on the day of service by 8:00pm. Unpaid balances incur a $20 late fee at 8:01pm on the day of service.

Refunds-
No refunds are offered.

Post-Groom Concerns-
All concerns must be reported within 48 hours of service. Veterinary issues should be addressed directly with your veterinarian.

Photos-
Ginger Paws LLC may take and use photos of your pet for records, marketing, and social media.

Scheduling-
Clients must maintain a recurring schedule of 2–8 weeks. Arrival windows are provided 2 days in advance. Access to your pet and safe parking must be available.

New/Lapsed Client Retainer-
A 50% retainer is required for first appointments and any appointment over 12 weeks and is refundable with at least 48 hours’ notice.

Mobile Unit Requirements-
If needed, Ginger Paws LLC may use your water and/or connect to shore power. Please ensure safe, legal parking is available on the day of your appointment, as the grooming van requires a relatively flat space and cannot park on busy or main roads. If you live on a busy street or have a sloped driveway, parking arrangements may be made nearby, and you may be asked to meet us with your pet. Please avoid scheduling on trash or landscape days unless parking can be guaranteed. For strict apartment complexes, condominiums, or gated communities, prior approval from management or HOA is required before your appointment.
